Strepsils Plus Anaesthetic Throat Spray

Company Reckitt Benckiser (NZ) Ltd Presentation Spray, 20ml. Active Ingredients Lignocaine hydrochloride 0.6% w/v, amylmetacresol 0.223% w/v, dichlorobenzyl alcohol 0.446% w/v.

Approved Indications Antibacterial, anaesthetic relief from mouth and throat infections, including sore throat, and mouth and dental ulcers. Relieves discomfort associated with tonsillitis and pharyngitis.

Contraindications Hypersensitivity to local anaesthetics.

Precautions Do not exceed maximum dose or dilute spray. Caution in asthmatics. Be careful consuming hot foods or liquids after use.

Adverse Effects Taste disturbance. Rarely, hypersensitivity reactions.

Directions Adults and children over 12 years: Aim nozzle at back of the throat and spray 2 times. Children 6-12 years: Apply only 1 spray to the back of the throat. Repeat every 2 hours as required. Maximum 8 doses (16 sprays) every 24 hours. Do not inhale spray.
